Cadillac Wire WheelManufacturer of luxury cars dating back to the early 1900’s, Cadillac has long been a desired car for high-class individuals. The old adage, “it rides like a Cadillac” didn’t come about by accident—these cars were comfortable, elegant and smooth from the factory. During the 1940’s, General Motors fit these luxurious cars with chrome wire wheels, and it was a trend that lasted for many years for new can manufacturers, as well as custom builders across the country. Many vehicles (even those that do not bear the Cadillac name) have rolled on Cadillac wire wheels over the years, and the combination is made that much better with a set of wide whitewall tires. It’s a classic look that has withstood the test of time and it can be easily recreated with a little help from Roadster Wire Wheels and Coker Tire.

The original Cadillac wire wheel design featured a rolled rim, laced to a model-specific hub with 40 chrome plated spokes, and Roadster Wire Wheels replicates this classic wheel in the most authentic manner by using many of the same manufacturing techniques and materials. The only difference is spoke count, as these new replications feature 48 stainless steel, cross-laced spokes. Cadillac wire wheels are available in 15×6-inch and 16×6-inch sizing, and feature a tubeless construction. All of Roadster’s Cadillac wire wheels are made in American with American materials, and the finished product speaks loudly of the manufacturing efforts.

Manufactured from steel, and fit with the classic Cadillac crest logo, the center cap is a classic finishing touch. Original ’53-56 caps are applicable. The versatile design works well for a wide range of Cadillac models, and the backspacing and bolt pattern allow it to fit Cadillacs from 1940 to 1976. These wheels are designed for rear wheel drive vehicles only, but Roadster does offer a wheel for late model, front wheel drive Cadillac Eldorado models.
